Valerio Fornasini

Valerio Fornasini is the founder of Thingsmaker, a London-based furniture and joinery studio established in 2015.

Originally from Rome, Valerio moved to London in the early 2000s to study Architecture and later worked as an architectural assistant for several years. In 2010, he briefly relocated to Norway to study Industrial Design and Furniture Making.

Drawing on a background that combines design, craftsmanship and project experience, Valerio founded Thingsmaker to create bespoke furniture, fitted joinery and tailored interior solutions. The studio brings together practical making skills with a strong design-led approach, delivering thoughtful and functional pieces for homes and commercial spaces across London.
